Mnemonics

Mnemonic is a well known and successful approach to learn and retain difficult sets of paragraphs. These are pattern of letters, ideas or association by which we can retain the difficult thing easily. For Instance, General Model of a Computer system can be easily learnt as IPS Officer (Comprising Input as I , Processing as P , Storage as S and Output as Officer). We can apply our intelligence to frame many such shortcut to learn and quick remind our syllabus and for day to day assignments also.

When Perceptions Become Habits

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a state of mind where a person is unable to control his/her mind or thoughts and is someway bound by his/her perceptions to do some tasks in a repeatedly manner. 

One is get much habitual to certain tasks that it becomes compulsion for him/her to perform that tasks in a repeatedly manner say washing of hands on every touch to dust, counting many times, checking the door is locked or not.

Actually most of us have one or two such bad repetitive habits or perceptions in mind and may be a series of our thoughts. I am not saying we are obsessed with any disease but we should minimise our unfruitful superstitions and habits which really curb a substantial time and mind.
